WoWBoxer Window Layouts

Every window in its place

Pick how many clients, pick a layout, and WoWBoxer Window Layouts snaps each WoW window into its slot – on one monitor or several. It checks that each window shows the whole action bar, and it never touches your keyboard or mouse.

What is WoWBoxer?

A war table for players who run the whole party

Multiboxing means playing several of your own accounts at once. WoWBoxer helps you do it the honest way: good preparation, clean macros and a layout that stays out of your way. Every action is still your own key press.

1 Manual, always

One key press does one thing in one client. You switch windows yourself. Nothing we ship sends input to the game.

2 Rules first

Every feature is checked against Blizzard's own policies. The exact quotes and links are on our rules page.

3 Forever first

Built for World of Warcraft®: Forever from launch day, with Classic Era as a second home. Every guide shows the game build it was last checked with.

Choose your heroes

All nine classes can box

Mix any classes you like, from a duo to a full party of five, or more. The Squad Companion writes leader and follower macros for every one of them.

  • Warrior

    Tank · Damage

Box role: a sturdy leader that holds threat, or a melee follower that assists into the fight.

  • Paladin

    Tank · Healer · Damage

Box role: the self-sufficient leader. Tanks, heals itself and buffs the squad with auras and blessings.

  • Hunter

    Damage

Box role: an easy follower. The pet joins the leader's target while the hunter shoots from range.

  • Rogue

    Damage

Box role: strong melee damage, but stealth and positioning make it one of the harder classes to box.

  • Priest

    Healer · Damage

Box role: the classic squad healer. One key keeps the leader alive through @party1 macros.

  • Shaman

    Healer · Damage

Box role: totems buff the whole party; heals or casts from a follower window.

  • Mage

    Damage

Box role: ranged burst and area damage, and it conjures food and water for the whole squad.

  • Warlock

    Damage

Box role: damage over time plus a pet. Its spells suit one-button sequence keys – a favourite follower.

  • Druid

    Tank · Healer · Damage

Box role: fills any gap in the squad, and Mark of the Wild buffs everyone.

Role notes are WoWBoxer tips, not official class descriptions. Check the Companion for macros at your level.

How manual boxing plays

Point. Press. Repeat.

Leader pulls

In window 1, press 1.

Point

Point at the next window. With hover to activate, the window under the mouse becomes the active one.

Same key again

The follower's macro hits the leader's target.

Repeat for every character

Two windows or five: one press in each.

Same key on every client, pressed separately in each window. That is the whole trick.

Is multiboxing allowed?

  • Playing several accounts: yes
  • Copying keys to several clients: no
  • WoWBoxer: one key press, one action, one window
