WoWBoxer started as one player's notes for running an Undead trio: a Paladin, a Priest and a Warlock. It grew into a guide, a macro planner, a window app and an in-game add-on for squads of any size.
Why
Multiboxing is allowed in World of Warcraft, but good help is hard to find. Old tools are paid or dormant. Forum threads contradict each other. And the question everyone asks first, "will I get banned?", rarely gets a straight answer.
WoWBoxer tries to be that straight answer: clear steps, built around one rule (one key press = one action, on one character), with Blizzard's own words linked on the rules page.
What we stand for
- Manual play. One key press is one action on one character. Always.
- Sources, not rumors. Every rule we state links to Blizzard's own words.
- Open source. All code is on GitHub under the MIT License. Read it before you run it.
- Free. No ads, no paid tiers, no tracking.
Who
WoWBoxer is made by a player who multiboxes himself. It is a hobby project, not a company.
Community
WoWBoxer gets its own Discord server for launch: ask for help, share your squad and layout, and hear first when a guide or tool changes.
Get involved
- Found a mistake or an outdated rule? Open an issue on GitHub.
- Want to help with code or guides? Pull requests are welcome.
- Want to help keep the lights on? See Support WoWBoxer below.
Support WoWBoxer
WoWBoxer is free and stays free. If it saves you an evening of setup, you can help keep it going.
Where your support goes
- The domain and hosting for this site.
- Code signing, so Windows trusts the window app's installer without a warning.
- Time: testing every patch, re-checking Blizzard's rules and keeping the guides current.
What it never does
- It never unlocks anything. Every guide, tool and feature is free for everyone. There are no paid tiers and no "supporter" features.
- It never shows up in the game. Blizzard's add-on policy keeps donation requests out of the game, and we keep them out of our apps as well.
- It never buys ads or influence. We don't run ads, and nobody can pay to be recommended on this site.
Other ways to help
Money is only one way to help:
- Tell us what's wrong. An outdated rule, a broken step, a macro that misfires: open an issue on GitHub.
- Share your setup in our Discord: your squad, your layout, your keybinds.
- Tell a friend who wants to try boxing.
- Contribute code or guide fixes. Everything is open source under the MIT License.
Thank you
WoWBoxer is a hobby project made by a player who boxes himself. Every bug report, shared layout and coffee keeps it going.
